Gold River Christmas Light Installation
In Gold River the HOA comes up before the lights do, and fair enough. We’re about twenty minutes away in Arden-Arcade when Highway 50 behaves. Gold River Christmas light installation is the same job we do everywhere else, except the neighbors pay closer attention and there’s an association keeping an eye on the street. Call (916) 586-7193 and we’ll work through it with you.
Is my HOA going to be a problem?
Probably not, but check. Every village here has its own rules on top of the big association’s, and the architectural controls are real. What associations tend to complain about is damage, decorations left up into spring, and cords snaking across common areas. We don’t leave any of that behind. If your village has a rule about start dates, colors or what can go on a shared wall, tell us when you call and we’ll follow it.
I’m behind a gate. Does that change anything?
Only the gate. Promontory Point is gated, and so is Stanford Court, which is a group of newer condo buildings. We just need access on install day and again on takedown day. With condos and townhomes, the real question is what you’re allowed to decorate: your entry, a patio railing, your front door. Lit garland along a railing plus a lit wreath on the door is a small job, and we’re happy to do small jobs. Nobody needs a full roofline on a shared building.
Gold River Christmas light installation around the oaks
The community was planned around the valley oaks that were already here, and you can tell. A lot of streets have big trees shading the front of the house. That’s great news for a tree wrap and bad news for a roofline if branches hang over the gutter, so we look at your photos of the canopy before we plan anything. A big oak trunk wrapped in warm white might be the most Gold River thing you can do with lights. We wrap the trunk and the lower limbs and stop where the ladder work stops making sense. There’s more on our tree wrap page.
Tile or shingle, what does the committee see afterward?
Nothing. Most homes in Gold Spike Village, Sutter Village and Marshall Village are detached houses from the eighties and nineties, with both tile and composition shingle around. Tile gets clips made for tile. Shingle gets clips that tuck under the edge or grab the gutter. We don’t put a fastener into your fascia, which matters when an architectural committee walks the street in January.
What else goes up?
Pillar wraps on the entry columns. Stake lights along the walk, placed after we find the sprinkler heads, because snapping one off is a bad way to start December. Wreaths wherever you’ll see them from the street. All of it runs on a timer, so you’re not the one remembering to unplug things at eleven. And no, you don’t need to own a single bulb. Every light, clip and cord is ours, and it all rides back out on our truck. People with a garage shelf full of half-dead strands find that part very freeing.
When is it all gone?
January. We come back, take it down and haul it off, which your HOA will like even more than you do. If a strand goes out before then, call (916) 586-7193. We’re working Rancho Cordova and Folsom all season, so Gold River is on our route either way. You can also send your village name and a photo of the front through the contact page, or just call (916) 586-7193.
